WORLDWIDE FULL GOSPEL MISSIONS OF KENYA

Worldwide Full Gospel Missions of Kenya is a humanitarian Christian organisation who is concern with the lake of medical equipments and drugs in Kenya and has decided to act and make a difference. We are a Christian organisation which seeks to co-ordinate efforts for Gods Love to be demonstrated in the dispensary by providing material resources and drugs for the population of Subuku and Molo.Worldwide Full Gospel Missions of Kenya is under the oversight of Worldwide Missions Outreach Ministries based in the United Kingdom, locally managed by the Pasteur Josphat Kamal. Worldwide Missions Outreach Ministries regularly support Worldwide Full Gospel Missions of Kenya but face difficulties to meet the population’s needs.

KENYA

  • Kenya is developing countries that face many challenges; they had strong economic growth in 1995 and 1996 but Kenya’s economy  since has stagnated, A severe drought from 1999 to 2000 compounded Kenya's problems, causing water and energy rationing and reducing agricultural output.

Weak commodity prices, endemic corruption, and low investment limited Kenya's economic growth to 1%. Growth fell below 1% in 2002 because of erratic rains, low investor confidence, meagre donor support, and political infighting up to the elections. As a result of all this, 50% of the population lives below the poverty line of $1 a day. In a subsistence community they earn enough to survive but not thrive. This income often cannot pay for housing, clothing, school supplies, home supplies, and medical needs, as well as crop seeds, livestock care, and luxuries such as pesticides or proper fertilizers for crops.

The Population of this country is  31,639,091 millions  and the Capital city is Nairobi. .Sadly like the norms of this region the more you are remote from the major city, expose you will be from heath care issues due to the lake dispensaries.
Unemployment rate: 40%
Environmental Issues:water pollution from urban and industrial wastes; degradation of water quality from increased use of pesticides and fertilizers; water hyacinth infestation in Lake Victoria; deforestation; soil erosion; desertification; poaching.

A estimate 1.2 millions people live with hiv/aids in Kenya due to lake of knowledge

OUR ACTIONS

We currently have two dispensaries in Subuku and Molo (Centre and West of Kenya) where the needs of medical equipment and drugs are important. We also provide them mosquito nets in order to avoid any disease to spread, basic drugs and occasional medical team.

OUR GOALS

To reach out to the un-reached people of Subuku, Molo and their surrounding area: Provide them with regular medicines and permanent competent medical support.

To raise funds for our future clinics in Subuku and Molo within a year:  This work involves fund raising for creating two fully functioning clinics (infrastructure, medical equipment, drug supply).

Fighting health poverty, we fund long-term work worldwide and teach the population basic medical knowledge (1st Aid, Infection, HIV…).
